Carer Gateway is a government initiative specifically designed to offer counselling, self guided coaching, access to an on-line community and on-line skill training to help you better care for your family/friend and yourself. The support is available to all carers, particularly those feeling stressed, anxious or depressed in their caring role.

This terrific initiative offers carers the following support:

Forum
Connect with other carers via an online community. This space allows for sharing of stories, giving and receiving advice and acts as a support base in times of need.

Self guided coaching
These online sessions are designed to use at your own pace and to help you review where you are at, where you would like to go and practical steps to help you achieve it.

Skill training
Use this training to help you better manage your caring role while making sure you are looking after yourself as well.
