Our Services

What type of people can access our services?

Aged Care: Those funded by Home Care Packages (HCP Level 1, 2, 3 and 4) can access our services. Commonwealth Home Support Packages (CHSP) is currently available in Tasmania only.

Disability Support: Those funded by the NDIS can access our services.

Fee-For-Service: Everyone can access our Fee-For-Service supports, there is no need for government-funding.

What type of services do you provide?
We provide a wide range of services, including but not limited to: domestic assistance, personal care, community access, meal preparation, transport, social support and allied health.

Where are you located?
We provide our services all over Australia. Have a look at our Our Locations page to find out more about our areas of service.

I am a carer and need respite – do you provide this?
Yes, respite can be arranged for all carers and/or participants on an individual basis.

I live alone and would like social support. Can you help with this?
Yes, we do provide social support. We will attempt to match you with a Support Worker who has similar interests and hobbies.

My parents need help at home. Can you help with this?
Yes, we can provide a full range of support at home for your parents.

Do you provide short-term and rental accommodation?
Yes, we provide short-term and rental accommodation through our organisation Candice’s House. We will work with the participant to find suitable accommodation.

Can you help me with employment?
We can assist and support you to access an appropriate employment agency, and provide support at your workplace.

Do you provide Support Coordination or Plan Management?
At this stage we do not provide this, but we are able to refer you to someone.

Our Pricing

What are the costs?

Aged Care: All costs are in line with the current Aged Care Subsidies and Supplements Rates.

Disability Support: All costs are in line with the current NDIS guidelines.

Do you charge a daily fee?

Aged Care: No, we do not charge a basic daily fee. Other fees may apply as per the Aged Care Subsidies and Supplements Rates, depending on the HCP level of service required.

Disability Support: No, we do not charge a daily fee.

Do you charge an exit fee?
No, we do not charge an exit fee.

Do I pay for transport kilometres?
Yes, this payment is covered through your NDIS or HCP Plan.

Do you charge a fee for cancellation of shifts?
We do not charge a cancellation fee when cancelled outside the 24 hours’ notice period.

What if I require more services that are not covered by my HCP or NDIS Plan?
Candice Care offers Fee-For-Services that allows you to get extra supports outside of your NDIS or Home Care Package plan.

I am waiting for approval of funding or am currently going through the approval process; can you provide support?
Yes. We can offer Fee-For-Service support while you are waiting for your government funding.

Our Team

Are the Candice Care team members qualified?
Yes. All mandatory checks are completed prior to commencing employment. Click here to find out more about our team and what qualifications they require.

Can I have the same Support Worker each shift?
We attempt to roster several different Support Workers – this way, when someone is on leave or unavailable, there will be another person available that you are familiar with who can continue your supports.

When I book a shift time, will the Support Worker come at this time?
Yes – we will make every effort to provide support at the requested time. Any changes will always be discussed with you.

Do you have Nurses available, and what services do they provide?
Yes, we have Registered Nurses available who provide follow-ups from hospital stays, ongoing monitoring of health issues and advice.

Can I have more than one service provider?
Yes, you can have more than one service provider. We are happy to work together to achieve the best possible support for you.

Can I change providers and how do I do this?
Yes, you can. We are happy to assist you with transferring providers.
