What’s the best way to contact Candice Care?

You can contact us on 1800 CANDICE (1800 226 342) between our office hours of 8.00am – 4.00pm. This number is also a manned 24 hour/7 day a week support line. Alternatively, you can email us on hello@candicecare.org.au and we will reply as soon as possible.

If you find yourself in an emergency situation, please call 000.

What can I expect when I call Candice Care?

Our team is here to support you with any questions surrounding NDIS, My Aged Care or Fee-for-Service such as:

  • finding the right support team
  • understanding funding packages
  • changing service providers
  • applying for funding
  • explaining our service offering in detail
  • any questions about your support with us

Candice Care tailors our support to individual needs and ensures our team delivers this with respect, integrity and heart.  Any inquiry will be managed with the utmost sensitivity and held the strictest of confidence.

Can I call Candice Care anytime?

We are available anytime during office hours and offer a 24-hour, 7 day a week support line. In the case of an emergency, please call 000 immediately.

What kind of support do you provide?

We believe that everyone has the right to stay in their own home for as long as they can. Our team is dedicated to helping you remain independent and maintain the lifestyle of your choosing. Our services include, but aren’t limited to:

  • personal care
  • domestic support
  • respite
  • transport
  • cleaning
  • community access
  • social and vocational support
  • case management
  • gardening
  • brokerage of allied health
  • meal preparation
  • service coordination
  • companionship
  • rehabilitation support

How long will it take to get support in place?

We’ll work with you, along with any of your support network, to ensure a seamless process and if required, in most cases we can arrange immediate assistance. If you are awaiting a funding package, there may be other options. Call our experienced team and we can talk you through the process.

Where is Candice Care located?

Our teams are dotted throughout the nation and currently service six states. We are a national organisation, meaning our support is on hand throughout Australia. Click here to see our exact regions or call us on 1800 CANDICE to find out more.

Being able to offer support in locations that may seem remote or too small means our support is on hand throughout Australia and is extended to places other providers may not be available.


Funding and Payments

Is Candice Care an approved provider?

We are a not-for-profit, government approved My Aged Care and NDIS provider. We also offer Fee-for-Service support. Call us on 1800 CANDICE to discuss this further.

I’m uncertain about my eligible for a funding package. Who can I speak to?

If you’re uncertain if you are eligible, one of our friendly team will gladly talk you through the process and can also assist with the application, if you choose. Get in touch by calling 1800 CANDICE to find out more or email hello@candicecare.org.au.

Can I combine my funding packages and fee for services?

Yes, you sure can. You can either use the Fee-for-Service as a one-off or on an ongoing basis. We’ll work with you to understand your requirements and tailor a suitable support plan to meet your needs and lifestyle.

How much do you charge for fee for services and do prices vary over weekends and public holidays?

Depending on your needs, fees will vary so we recommend giving us a call to discuss this. Surcharges will apply on weekends, public holidays and after 8.00pm.

Do you charge the Daily Contribution Fee?

No, we don’t. However, depending on your support needs and funding, you may be required to contribute. As an approved provider, we strictly follow the Australian Government guidelines when it comes to financial assessments and reviewing co-payment amounts.

No additional service that come at a cost to you will be carried without written consent from you or your primary caregiver.

How do I keep track of and manage my payments?

We’ll ensure you receive regular invoices that contain detailed information about your funding package.

If your services are provided by a funding agency, typically we will claim payment directly from the agency, ensuring your records reflect this. We will also make sure there is no confusion when it comes how this is managed.


Our team

How qualified is the Candice Care team?

Prior to commencing employment with us, each member of the team is required to undertake mandatory police checks, as well as working with vulnerable elderly and children checks. All team members are required to hold current first aid and CPR certificates, have secured, or are working towards gaining a minimum of the Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) and many have Certificate IV qualifications in ageing support or disability.

Some of our team members have been trained across a variety of clinical areas, meaning some are well-equipped to work alongside people with specific injuries, such as spinal and brain injuries or behavioural concern.

At Candice Care, we ensure the people we support have a well-developed care plan and will work closely with other providers, specialists and allied health teams along the way
