Candice Care was founded in 2016 and since then has grown rapidly, with an expert team located throughout Australia.
As much as we'd like to introduce you to them all, meet the key people in your region and they'll gladly work with you to find the perfect support worker.
Founder & CEO
Candice has a long history working in the aged care and disability support industry, but it was after a medical incident involving her brother that she chose to start Candice Care and create an organisation that provides support with a difference. It's been an incredible journey and she couldn't be more proud of the organisation and the team who are helping her extending an unsurpassed level of care and attention to those in need.
Between her two children, running a business, playing state basketball and spending summer weekends surf life saving, there's not a lot of time left but if she does find some, it'll be filled with something active and something she loves.
Marketing / Development Officer
After having kids, Lauren decided to start studying to assist with her transition back to the workforce, choosing to study Individual Support. Following an accident that left her Mum temporarily injured and unable to perform daily tasks, Lauren stepped in as her carer. It was then she knew she was on the right career path. Lauren knew Candice from past working environments, so when the opportunity arose to work with her again, she jumped at the chance. As a Mackay local for the past seven years, Lauren walks into shifts each and every day knowing she has the ability to brighten someone's day.
Completing her studies keeps Lauren busy but with a young family, there is nothing she loves more than spending quality time with them.

Prior to joining Candice Care, Hollie was an Advanced Care Paramedic with the Queensland Ambulance Service for 11 years. After having her two little boys, she decided a change was needed and Candice Care offered the perfect opportunity to still work with and care for people in need. But the change didn't stop there. Four years ago, she bought a farm in Warwick, so between looking after that and her boys, life is pretty busy.
In her true caring nature, Hollie just loves meeting new clients and working with them to ensure they get exactly what they need, when they need it.
If she's not working, hanging out with her boys or looking after the farm, you'll find Hollie riding her horse, boxing or road tripping to the coast for a surf.

Leonie has been in aged care for the past 15 years, which has provided her with extensive experience not only in this industry, but has left her well equipped to care for and nurse clients with varying disabilities, as well as those travelling the palliation process.
The sense Leonie feels when helping clients achieve, what we may perceive as simple things but are in fact big things for them, is priceless. This role has allowed Leonie to feed her passion for helping people and has been able to continually develop her skill while forming strong bonds with those she assists.
